Admission Quota:  Degree Student: 2

Chinese Language Requirements:

Applicants are required to pass the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) at Level 4 or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) at Level VI before applying. (Please refer to P. 5 for more information about the aforementioned test.)

Applicants who are from a Chinese-speaking country, or who have previously majored in Chinese, or whose previous degree was conducted in Chinese, may provide alternative documentation instead of Chinese proficiency test results.


Admission Criteria: Application Materials Review
 

Additional Application Materials:

  1. Proof of language requirements
  2. Autobiography in Chinese
  3. Research proposal written in Chinese
  4. Master's Thesis (or academic publications)

 

►Program

Total Credits for Graduation of Ph. D: 27 credits (including 12 credits for required courses and 15 credits for elective courses).
